    Early Uncleaned Luftwaffe Sword w/Hanger. Paul Weyersberg, sword/wreath within double-oval TM. Silver plated hilt fittings show light surface wear/uncleaned age patina with 100% of background silver plating remaining on the brass pommel and crossguard swastikas. Blue leather grip shows light surface wear, but no nicks, rips or tears and is complete with tight double twisted wire wrap. Plated blade measuring 28 ¼" in length grades EX++ showing light surface wear/runner marks to the flats of the blade where runners have rested, but no graying, lifting, nicks or sharpening to cutting edges. Reverse blade is Waffen-Amt stamped and complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, blue leather scabbard shows light age with a few tiny surface nicks, but no rips, tears or damage to seam. Dent-free nickel-silver upper and lower scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age patina/spotting with no damage to the unturned retaining screws. The integral blue leather, crescent -shaped hanger shows wear/age to leather, but no damage to stitching. Nice early Weyersberg example recently obtained in the NW United States after being in storage for over thirty years.EX+/EX++ (25975) $1,895. SOLD
