Uncleaned Early Luftwaffe Sword.SMF, seated king TM. Silver plated hilt fittings show light surface wear/dark uncleaned age patina with 100% of background silver plating remaining on the brass pommel and crossguard swastikas. Blue leather grip shows surface wear with a 1/8"W X 5/8"L portion of missing leather on the lower reverse. Grip is complete with double, twisted wire wrap. Plated blade measuring 28 1/8" in length grades EX++ showing light surface wear/runner marks to the flats of the blade where runners have rested, but no speckling, pitting or nicks to cutting edges. Reverse blade is Waffen-Amt stamped and complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, blue leather covered scabbard shows light surface wear with a few minor nicks, but no rips, tears or damage to seam. Dent-free silver-plated upper and lower scabbard fittings show light surface wear/dark uncleaned age patina matching the hilt fittings with no damage to the unturned retaining screws.
