Luftwaffe Sword w/Hanger. SMF, SOLINGEN with stylized seated king TM and unreadable Waffenamt. Frosted aluminum hilt fittings show faint wear to pommel and crossguard, with 100% the gold wash remaining on pommel and crossguard swastikas. Reverse pommel has scratch through swastika. Blue leather grip shows light wear/scuffs to obverse/reverse, but no rips or tears, and is complete with tight double aluminum wire wrap. Plated blade grades EX++, showing light surface wear/runner marks but, no pitting or nicks to cutting edges. Reverse blade is Waffen-Amt stamped which is barely readable and is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, blue leather scabbard shows some surface scuffing primarily to obverse shell, but no rips, tears or damage to seam of the blue leather which matches the grip leather perfectly. Dent-free, upper and lower aluminum scabbard fittings grade EX++ showing only minor surface wear/age, and are complete with all four, undamaged retaining screws. The integral blue leather, crescent -shaped hanger is missing. EX++ (27325) $1,345.
