Police Officer's Sword w/Sword Knot. AWS scales along side a script Alcoso above Solingen TM. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show virtually no surface wear with no lifting to the serrated pommel, upper ferrule, or knuckle-bow/crossguard. Black wooden grip is perfect with no cracks or chips to the grip or lifting to the reverse backstrap. Grip is complete with bronze/copper Police pattern grip eagle properly pinned to the obverse and complete with tight silver wire wrap. Polished matte finish blade measuring 29 ½" in length grades EX++ showing only faint surface wear with one tiny area of faint gray shadowing on upper obverse, but no nicks to the cutting edge, and is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 99% of the original black enamel with only minor surface wear/crazing. Nickel-plated upper and lower scabbard fittings show light wear with portions of factory darkening remaining in the recesses of the upper scabbard fitting. All four scabbard fitting retaining screws are present and appear to be unturned. Police officer's sword knot grades EX++ showing only minor wear to the strap and acorn, but no rips or tears.
