Nickel-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear but no lifting or crazing, and pommel slot is complete with original red felt plug showing moth damage. Dark brown stag horn grip plates are perfect with cracks or chips and complete with nickel-plated rivets. Plain plated single-fullered blade measuring 19.8cm in length grades EX+/EX++ showing light surface wear/runner marks but no lifting to plating or nicks to cutting edge, and is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 90% of the original black enamel showing minor scratching with several spots of oxidation to obverse shell. Bayonet is complete with black patent leather double-stitched frog showing age/heat crazing to leather finish but no rips or tears. Frog is complete with original Army NCO green/silver portepee in EX condition. Nice Eickhorn example complete with stag horn grip plates and all accouterments.
