Gilted brass hilt fittings show light surface wear to pommel and crossguard with much gilting remaining in recesses. Off-white celluloid-over-wood grip is perfect with no cracks or chips and has its tight twisted brass wire wrap present. Plated blade grades excellent+ with only light surface wear and runner marks with 100% of the background frosting remaining to the double etched, fouled anchor motif. Brown felt blade buffer pad is present. Gilted brass scabbard shows light surface wear with traces of gilting remaining in recesses of lightening bolt pattern. Scabbard suspension bands show excellent detail with one minor surface depression to lower reverse scabbard. Dagger is complete with silver bullion portepee in correct, reef-knot tie showing minor wear and age patina, as well as correct hangers with Near MINT fabric with broken buckle on short strap.
