This nice example measures 9 ¼" inches in overall length and features nickel-plated hilt fittings showing light surface wear, but no lifting or peeling to the pommel or crossguard. Black Bakelite, checkered grip plates are perfect with no cracks or chips. Plated, single-fullered blade measuring 5 3/8" in length grades EX++, showing faint wear/runner marks and minor gray speckling to the obverse upper blade, but no pitting or nicks to the cutting edge. Obverse blade features the two-line advertising logo, "Gesellschaft für-Feldbahnindustrie Smoschewer & Co. Breslau - Berlin W9 - Leipzig - Bromberg." (Company for light Rail Industry Smoschewer & Co. Breslau - Berlin W9 - Leipzig - Bromberg) in jeweler engraved, block letters. Blade is without buffer pad. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains 99% of the original black enamel and is complete with black felt liners.
