Uncleaned Miniature Army Officer Dagger w/Advertising Logo. No Maker. This large Alcoso size, salesman sample miniature dagger, recently obtained in Germany measures 9 5/8" in overall length. Silver-plated hilt fittings show dark (almost black) age patina to well-detailed pommel, ferrule, and crossguard with no loss of plating. Perfectly scaled, light yellow, solid celluloid, grip is perfect with no cracks or chips Plated blade measuring 6" in length grades EX++/Near MINT showing only light surface wear/runner marks with no graying, spotting, or nicks to cutting edges, and is complete with portions of the dark blue felt blade buffer pad. Obverse blade is jeweler engraved with the gold filled advertising logo, "Otto Schroll Eto". Dent free steel scabbard shows dark age patina matching exactly the patina on the hilt fittings, with excellent detail to the pebbled panels as well as the oak leaf embellished suspension bands.
