Miniature 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger w/Advertising Logo w/o Scabbard. No maker. Although unmarked, this dagger, matches exactly the Eickhorn example pictured on page 245 of Me Fecit Solingen ("Solingen Made Me") by Skipper Greenwade. Silver-plated hilt fittings show dark age patiina with excellent detail to the pommel, ferrule and crossguard. Medium-orange, solid celluloid grip shows light surface wear with one tiny chip on upper reverse adjacent to pommel, and is complete with tight twisted wire-wrap. Plated blade measuring 5 ¼" in length grades EX++, showing minor surface wear/runner marks, but no speckling or lifting, and is without blade buffer pad. Obverse center blade is jeweler-engraved with advertising logo, "Gaspary A.G.". Overall length of dagger is without scabbard is 7 ½".EX+ (25330) $445.
