Miniature Deluxe Hunting Hirschfänger. Alcoso, ACS scales Solingen, stamped TM. Silver-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear/dark age patina to the deluxe oak leaf embellished pommel, slightly re-curved crossguard, and clamshell with raised stag and doe motif. Off-white, toned staghorn grip shows light surface wear with no cracks or chips. Plated, double-etched blade measuring 5 ½" in length grades EX++, showing light surface runner marks/surface wear, but no lifting or nicks to cutting edge. Obverse blade features a stag and doe in forest stetting with a hunting dog and fox on the reverse. Both etched panels retain 100% of the light gray background frosting with no wear or lifting. Blade is complete with original green felt blade buffer pad. Green leather scabbard shows light surface wear with two small scuffs on the reverse, but no rips, tears or creases Dent-free, silver-plated scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age patina with some oxidation/crazing to the upper fitting, but no major loss of plating. Obverse lower fitting features a detailed hunting scene of a stag in forest setting, and upper fitting is complete with acorn pattern suspension lug.
