Miniature Royal Bavarian Officer's Pallasch (Saber) w/Miniature Saber Knot. This large, well detailed miniature, measuring 11 ½" in overall length grades EX++ showing minor wear with potrions of gilding remaining to the hilt with domed pommel and 4-bar handguard/crossguard. Black bakelite grip without wire wrap shows minor age with no cracks and only one tiny chip on lower edge adjacent to crossguard (chip is covered by saber knot cord). Straight, single-fullered, single-edged blade measuring 7 7/8" in length grades EX+/EX++ showing minor wear with a few age specks, but no lifting or pitting and is complete with white felt blade buffer pad. Dent-free, straight, nickel-plated scabbard shows minor wear and some lifting/crazing primarily to obverse shell and drag but no major damage. Scabbard is complete with one suspension band/ring. The saber knot shows light wear to the black woven cord w/brown flecks and silver stem and acorn shaped ball. Cord shows some fraying adjacent to the stem.
