Miniature Luftwaffe Sword w/o Propeller Base. Alcoso (ACS, scales) TM. This large-size miniature was recently obtained from an advanced collection in the state of South Carolina. Silver-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear/age patina with traces of factory lacquer and frosting remaining, as well as 100% of the gilting on both pommel and crossguard swastikas. Blue leather grip is perfect with no rips or tears and with tight double-twisted wire wrap present. Plated blade grades excellent++ showing only light surface wear/runner marks with no lifting or nicks and is complete with blue felt buffer pad. Dent-free blue leather scabbard shows minor surface wear with two pinhead size nicks on center reverse. Silver-plated scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age patina with one faint depression on upper obverse fitting. Scabbard is complete with both suspension rings. Nice Alcoso miniature.
