Catalogue/Edged Weapons/Non-German from WW1 and WW2

Over the past few years, we have seen an increasing interest by collectors in the edged weapons of the Axis powers, some of the neutral states and the post-war powers. Until the recent reference works by Kurt Glemser and Robert Berger, little information was available to the collector. We anticipate this to be a high growth area in collecting and are making every effort to obtain such quality edged weapons. Many of these scarce and rare items can still be obtained at a moderate cost. We consider this a prime investment area for the future.

 Carl Eickhorn Export Swords
Listed below are some of the original Carl Eickhorn export swords from their 1930s Showroom. These are the same swords that were seen in the showroom in the photographs taken during the 1930s and remained there until they were removed in the late 1950s by an Eickhorn swordsmith. A picture of this Showroom can be found on page 194 of my Volume I of "Collecting the Edged Weapons of the Third Reich". These swords all appear in the 1930s export catalogs that were used by the Eickhorn firm to sell their swords to other governments. Two of the swords have the original Eickhorn muster (sample model number) stamped on the blade. They also have an original price tag; although it does not have Eickhorn on the tag, it does list the Eickhorn model number (these same tags are visible in the referenced photograph).
