wish to purchase, and we will acknowledge your order via
letter. Should you request that I return your call, I
will do so on a "collect" basis only, as the cost to do
otherwise has become prohibitive. JRB&M has the capability
of receiving/sending printed matter including text, diagrams,
sketches, etc. via FAX. Our JRB&M dedicated FAX number

2,100 items of authentic WWI and WWII German edged weapons
and accouterments for sale, in addition to numerous out-of-print
references on the subject of collecting WWI and WWII edged
weapons. Published at least semi-annually. Order as many
catalogs that you would like to recieve, and new copies
will be mailed automatically as they become available.

only the "upper-end" condition artifacts; i.e., items
in Near MINT condition or those pieces that are so rare
or unusual that quality becomes less important and is
compromised. We are delighted to have you as a friend

ordered from this catalog does not fully meet your expectations,

All items purchased via credit card
MUST be refunded via a credit to the same account, unless
you wish to establish a credit with JRB&M for future purchase(s).
NOTE: Should you decide to return merchandise, WE MUST
BE NOTIFIED WITHIN THREE (3) DAYS AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR
ORDER. ALL RETURNED ITEMS MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE SAME
CONDITION IN WHICH THEY WERE SENT. Cleaning of edged weapons,
disassembly and any damage occurred during disassembly,
or removal of accouterments may void the return privilege.
Books can only be returned in the case of damage or misprint.
ALL VIDEO CASSETTE TAPES ARE NON-RETURNABLE unless defective.
All returned items will be subject to a small handling
charge. The return of consignment items MUST BE MADE WITHIN
THE SPECIFIED 3-DAY return privilege limit, as the consignor
is paid by JRB&M at that time.
All merchandise is subject to prior
sale, and all prices are subject to change without notice.
Payment for purchases may be in the form of personal check,
money order or cashier's check, or any of the following
major credit cards: American Express, VISA and Mastercard.
THE MINIMUM CREDIT CARD CHARGE IS $10.00. NOTE: Service
charge for returned checks is $50.00@. All transactions
conducted via United Parcel Service (UPS) C.O.D. will
require money order or cashier's check ONLY. Payment from

JRB&M prefers to use United Parcel
Service (UPS) for all domestic shipments of books, edged
weapons, parts and accouterments. UPS shipping charges
to a US destination (Alaska and Hawaii not included) are
$6.00 per book or per parcel (plus insurance--see below)
for parts and accouterments. For edged weapons, JRB&M
uses the following shipping chart for domestic shipments:

Regarding International Packages

JRB&M prefers to use the United States Postal
Service (USPS) for all international shipments of
books, edged weapons, parts, and accouterments. Current
USPS shipping regulations requires ALL packages to include
a Customs declaration and an invoice with an additional
USPS Insurance Form 3813-P for insured shipments. Customers
should advise JRB&M how the package is to be shipped
(Air or Surface), declared Customs value and, if applicable,
amount of insurance ($200 minimum on edged weapons).
THE
CUSTOMS VALUE DECLARATION, INVOICE AMOUNT and INSURED
VALUE MUST BE THE SAME, and the CUSTOMER is RESPONSIBLE
in case of loss or damage for ANY UNINSURED AMOUNT.

Layaway arrangements can be made by
enclosing 1/3 down with the initial order (or, if reserving
an item via telephone, a payment of 1/3 MUST follow within
seven (7) days of phone call) and remitting the balance
remaining within 90 days. Arrangements for a longer pay-off
period can be made by speaking directly with me. PLEASE
NOTE: Any item on layaway for more than 30 days will be
subject to a 5% restocking charge if returned or released
from hold. A minimum charge per item will be $5.00, with
a maximum charge not to exceed $100.00. Please order by

Feel free to list alternate choices, as many items are
one-of-a-kind, and may have already been sold by the time

All figures and comments herein
on investment potential are provided based on past performances
of similar items and my experience in the edged weapon
field; they in no way constitute a guarantee of future
increases in value. In the opinion of this firm, when
purchased for investment purposes, edged weapons should,
like any other collectible, be considered a long-term
investment. Experts recommend retention of at least 4-5
years, and preferably 5-10 years.

Our list provides an outstanding array
of original, quality edged weapons, accouterments and
parts. It is the result of numerous veteran and collector
purchases. I continue to ferret out some remaining original
parts in Europe. PLEASE NOTE: The items offered by JRB&M
are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Everything
in this sales catalog was available upon completion of
the list. Any items that have been crossed out were sold
just prior to this catalog being sent to the printer.
We realize it will be impossible to satisfy all of our
customers and would like to take this opportunity to thank
you for your patience and apologize if an item has been
previously sold. I would like to reiterate, all edged
weapons offered on this list and any future sales lists
are original in all respects unless stated otherwise,
i.e., we are not offering to our customers any refurbished,
revamped and/or "restored" edged weapons. If a dagger
or sword makes our list which has a recovered leather
scabbard or any replaced part(s), it certainly will be
so noted in both the description and the price. In our
view, fair is fair! Here are a few words of advice: "Don't
