Description
No maker. The natural aluminum hilt fittings show minor with dark gray factory finish remaining in the recesses of the oak leaf embellished pommel and superbly detailed eagle on the crossguard langet with incised oak leaves on the upper surfaces of the guillons. The pommel swastikas retain faint traces of the factory gilding. The off-white, ivory-toned, celluloid-over wood grip is perfect with no cracks or chips and no damage to the tight twisted wire wrap. The unmarked, polished blade grades EX+/EX++ showing minor runner marks with light gray shadowing to obverse/reverse, but no pitting, nicks to cutting edges or damage to the blade tip. The blade is complete with a black leather buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard grades EX++ showing minor wear/age speckling to the medium gray factory finish on the pebbled panels, edges and well detailed oak leaf suspension bands. The scabbard throat is secured by two, flat-head, retaining screws. EX++
