No maker. What is interesting to me about this dagger is the fact that it is in absolutely PERFECT mint condition. The owner who initially wanted to place this piece along with four other German edged weapons on consignment with JRB&M stated that he purchased this dagger about ten years ago from well-known collector/dealer Jason Burmeister. Many of Jason’s German daggers are featured in color in my Schiffer German dagger series. We seldom ever rate a dagger as being in perfect or mint condition. You usually can find one or more minor flaws. This is the first dagger that we have graded as being in truly mint condition in several years. The aluminum chain is “Ges. Gesch and OLC in a diamond” stamped and is also in mint condition. There is not one flaw on the leather grip or on the leather scabbard. MINT!
