WKC with knight’s armored torso. Gilded brass hilt fittings show minor surface wear with virtually 100% of the fire gilting as well as the factory lacquer remaining on the heavily chased dove head pommel, oak leaf back strap and knuckle bow, as well as crossguard with well-detailed open-wing eagle and swastika.  Black celluloid grip retains 100% of the shiny black finish with no chips or cracks and is complete with tight triple twisted wire wrap.  Plated blade measuring 34 7/8” in length grades Near Mint showing virtually no surface wear with no lifting to plating or nicks to the cutting edge and is complete with light brown leather blade buffer pad.  Dent-free black enamel scabbard shows uniform surface crazing to the obverse and reverse with minor loss of enamel and minor pitting to the lower portion of the drag.  Attached to the hilt is a near-mint, variation Army Officer sword knot with a black leather strap/bullion lines and a silver/gray wool thread acorn.  A nice example of a WKC dove head sword.  EX++ (28955) Consignment
