Description
An example of this figure in white porcelain is shown in the 1938/39 Porzellan Manufaktur Allach München” Catalog as Nr. 84, “Rehkitz, Stehend”. Figure measures approximately 22cm long x 29cm high, and features a standing fawn looking to his left. Figure is beautifully colored in light brown with mottled spots on body, a dark nose, large dark eyes, as well as delicately sculpted and colored hooves. Figure is marked on the bottom with intertwined SS Runes, “Allach” above the name of the sculptor, “Prof. Th. Karner” and “84” impressed into the porcelain.
