Description
DAVID MALSCH, STEINBACH (THUR) and stylized DM in oval TM with waffenamt. Nickel silver hilt fittings show light wear to hilt with brass swastikas to pommel and crossguard. Crossguard quillons show minor wear and patination to recesses. Blue leather grip shows almost no wear/age with tight double, “spongy” wire wrap. Blade shows light runner marks and grades EX++ with no pitting or nicks to cutting edges and is complete with blue leather buffer pad. The dent-free scabbard shows wear and nicks to leather but, no depressions or damage. Dent-free, upper, middle and lower scabbard fittings are nicely patinated and are complete with all four retaining screws. Lower scabbard fitting has minor depressions to obverse and reverse. Dagger is complete with chain hanger and features nickel silver fittings throughout. EX+/EX++ (28696)
