RAD triangle, “Ges. Gesch.” (patent pending), and the early Eickhorn “squirrel surrounded by double ovals” TM. Reverse of the hilt is stoamped “Ma1”. Extremely nice condition blade with very dark RAD (almost black) motto. Quality stag grip plates. Scabbard is missing some of the scabbard paint in spots. Locally purchased from the family of a WWII U.S. Army veteran. EX/EX+.
