PFEILERINGWERK (Muller & Schmidt), SOLINGEN in stylized double circle with arrows etched TM. Maker rarity value of “5” on the McSarr scale. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light surface wear and “nicotine” stained age patina with lower crossguard group marked, “No” for Nordsee. Reddish brown wooden grip shows slight wear but, no cracks or chips and with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset.  Polished blade grades EX+/EX++ showing surface wear/runner marks and some minor speckling to obverse lower portion. Deeply etched SA motto inscription retains 98% of the light gray background frosting.  Dent-free steel scabbard shows light surface wear/spidering and wear retaining approximately 70% of the brown anodized finish and factory lacquer to shell. Nickel-silver fittings show light surface wear/age patina and lower ball is severely dented. EX+/EX++(27488)
