REMEVE Solingen, TM. Both Ralph Siegert’s SA book and the “McSarr” list rate this maker a “7”. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show surface wear/age and green verdigris indicating age, with reverse lower crossguard group-marked “Nrh” for Niederrhein. Honey brown wooden grip shows light surface wear and one hairline crack above obverse crossguard. Polished blade grades EX+ showing surface wear/runner marks and very minor speckling with no nicks or cuts to the cutting edge. Deeply etched motto shows some dark speckling but retains 99% of the deep gray background frosting. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 95% of the brown anodization with some lacquer remaining. Nickel-silver scabbard fittings show surface wear/age patina matching the hilt fittings with some minor depressions to lower scabbard fitting. Unmarked early hanger grades EX+ with no rips or tears.
