Enlisted Artillery Visor. CLEMENS WAGNER BRAUNSCHWEIG 1938 inside sweatband. Inside rear sweatband has illegible red distributor stamp and some type of Roman numeral. The sweat shield is loose and has the size number: 60½ underneath printed to the red-brown liner. Inside of visor shows wear /age but, no significant soiling. Sweat band is loose and is barely attached to inside of hat however, sweat band is undamaged. Exterior of hat grades EX++ with no damage or significant wear and features the common “teller” form as seen in most enlisted visors. Quality slightly “ribbed” material shows almost no wear and no moth holes. Red piping is bright and correctly attached and joined. Eagle, wreath, and cockade are of extra fine quality showing no damage or wear. Cap is complete with chin-strap and near perfect black visor which is slightly loose. Visor shows wear/damage to inside but, outside grades Near MINT and would make a perfect display piece.
