Description
This knot was produced as a factory sample by the firm of Thiele & Steinart of Berlin for submission to the RZM/DRGM for production approval. Knot is complete with heavy cardboard tag marked, “Hausmüster” (house/factory sample), as well as a metal tag which is maker marked, “S.T., Berlin”. Knot is constructed of green woven fabric strap with two sets of 3 silver lines, green/silver slide/stem/crown, silver acorn w/green/silver acorn insert. Cardboard tag is dated “5.11.36”
