This remarkable WWII veteran dagger has just been added to our JRB&M inventory. The seller is a member of the veteran’s family, and we can easily trace our purchase for additional information on the dagger. Although the nickel-silver version is more popular, there is little to criticize on this aluminum model. One hundred percent of the hold remains in the four swastika discs. The blue leather wrapping the grip and the scabbard is perfect. This entire dagger would grade mint were it not for some very light scratches on the lower scabbard fitting. The attached aluminum chain is in the same remarkable condition and the chain clip is stamped “Ges Gesch” (patent pending) and “OLC”. The dagger is complete with brown leather teardrop hanger, also in mint condition.
