RZM M/31 (August Merten Wwe., Solingen-Grafrath) TM. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show only faint surface wear/scratches to obverse pommel where grip strap has rested. Black bakelite grips are perfect with no cracks or chips with perfect HJ emblem properly inset into the obverse plate. Polished blade WITHOUT motto grades VGood with some abrasive cleaning and typical wear/age/patina. Cutting edge has been period professionally sharpened. Blade is complete with black blade buffer pad. Dent free scabbard retains 95% of the original black enamel with only minor crazing and a few scratches to the enamel. Scabbard is complete with EX+ hanger/belt loop complete with grip strap which shows minor age to the leather. EX+
