Beautiful hand-painted Imperial Regimental Beer Stein “presented” to Reservist Alisky assigned to the 12th Company, Inf. Leib Regt. Grossherzogin 3. Grossh. Hess. Nr 117 Mainz 1908/1910. Center motif consists of city sky line of Mainz, portraits of a Prince and Princes and a single enlisted shoulderboard with the letter “A”. Stein features faded unit roster and various infantry training scenes throughout. Porcelain, painted scenes and thumb lift/top show very minor age/wear with no damage. Thumb lift consists of rampant lion and top/lid consists of soldier holding rifle leaning on monument. Lid is slightly loose. EX+/EX++ (28799)
