ORIGINAL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN squirrel holding sword TM. Aluminum hilt fittings show light surface wear with excellent detail to the pommel with Customs pattern oak leaves and crossguard with up-turned wing tips on Customs style langet eagle. The leather grip shows minor surface wear and minimal loss of color, and is complete with tight spongy aluminum wire wrap. Plated blade grades near EX++ showing some light surface wear/runner marks and is complete with an original leather buffer pad. Leather-covered scabbard shows some surface wear to leather, particularly to upper reverse section, and matches the grip color perfectly. The scabbard fittings show almost light wear and are complete with undamaged retaining screws. As is correct for period produced Land Customs daggers, the incised decorative lines on the fittings appear only on the obverse surface. Dagger comes complete with rare original hangers in EX++/near MINT condition.
