Description
CARL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN stamped squirrel holding sword TM. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear with no loss to plating and is complete with yellow felt plug. Black bakelite grip plates are perfect with no cracks or chips. Plated blade grades EX++ showing almost no wear/age and no nicks or cuts to cutting edge and is complete with buffer pad. Obverse blade features central ribbon band with“Zur Erinnerung am meine Dienstzeit” motto surrounded by oak leaves and flanked by Luftwaffe eagle and biplane motif. Dent-free steel scabbard shows 99% of black finish and light spidering to reverse. Bayonet is complete with unmarked brown frog.
