This unique set most likely was made for a high ranking Official in the Luftwaffe. We have never seen a set of this kind before. Silver plated goblets are marked “M” and “Gussthal, Solingen”. Extremely well detailed, raised three-dimensional Luftwaffe eagle and swastika on the front of both goblets. The decanter has a silver plated “screw on” decanter lid that also has the same Luftwaffe eagle and swastika as on both goblets on the front and back of the lid. The handle and lower part of the spout displays an ornate raised motif. The top is attached by a hinge so you can open and close it. Pure crystal base is in beautiful MINT condition. This was obtained from a collector who purchased it approximately 40 years ago. Absolutely original, and EXTREMELY rare. Perfect for the avid Luftwaffe collector! EX++/Near MINT.
