Description
Robert Klaas, Solingen with kissing cranes TM. Above the trademark appears a triangle with the stylized letters “R, A, D” and a backwards “L” along with Ges. Gesch. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show some surface wear with speckling throughout. Dark brown stag horn grip plates are perfect with no chips or cracks. Polished blade grades EX showing light surface wear/runner marks, gray shadowing, and speckling, but no nicks to the cutting edge. Deeply etched motto retains 98% of the light gray background frosting. Dent-free steel scabbard show some wear to black anodization. Nickel-silver scabbard fittings show light surface wear and speckling, with scrollwork on the upper fitting and wheat and spade motif on the lower fitting. Lower scabbard fitting shows two very small depressions.
