A x T und Hauerfabrik, Solingen in circle with horse head TM. Rare trademark that the “McSARR” list rates a “7”. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light wear and age patina with reverse lower crossguard marked “No” for “Nordsee.” Deepreddish-brown, fine-grained wooden grip shows light surface wear with several faint depressions and light scratches, but no chips or cracks and with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Blade grades EX showing surface wear/runner marks and dark speckling. Deeply etched motto retains only the edges of its dark gray background frosting. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains approximately 95% of the brown anodization with surface crazing throughout Nickel-silver scabbard fittings show surface wear and age patina matching the hilt fittings, with scabbard ball showing one prominent depression. Dagger comes complete with unmarked brown leather hanger and belt loop.
