RZM marked M7/66 (Eickhorn) and 1940. Plated hilt fittings show lifting to plating and speckling primarily to upper fitting. Cherry brown, fine-grained wooden grip has one depression above eagle and some light wear to reverse but no chips or cracks, and is complete with grip eagle and SA insert. Blade grades near EX+ showing minor surface wear and runner marks, but no pitting, nicks or damage. The deeply etched motto retains 98% of the deep gray background frosting. Dent-free scabbard retains 98% of the brown paint to the obverse/reverse shell with very minor crazing and chipping. The dent-free plated scabbard fittings show light wear and are complete with all four retaining screws.
