RZM 188/35 SS (Unknown maker) on reverse blade ricasso. Nickel-silver Hilt fittings show surface wear/age with lower crossguard group marked “I” for Nordost. Grip shows light wear with two hairline cracks to lower half of obverse grip and eagle and SS insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX++ with deeply etched SS motto inscription which retains 98% of the light gray background frosting. Dent-free steel scabbard has been crudely repainted and shows large portions of paint missing. Nickel – silver scabbard fittings show very light surface wear with no damage to lower ball.
