Giesen & Forsthoff, Solingen with stylized female figure holding the letters “G” and “F” inside a diamond motif TM. Maker rates an “8” on the McSarr’s rarity list. Very little wear to the grip with properly inset eagle and SA rune. Lower reverse nickel/silver crossguard is marked “Wm” for Westmark. Blade shows light runner marks and does not have any nicks to the cutting edges. Anodized scabbard with some minor dents to the lower scabbard fitting. Overall a very nice condition early SA dagger. EX++.
