Hermann Hahn, Sol.–Wald script with “HH” monogram within in circle TM (#8 on McSarr’s listing). An estimated 1,000 daggers produced with this maker (see page 336 of the Fisher Quick Reference guide by R. & R. Fisher). Nickel silver hilt fittings with reverse lower crossguard marked “Om” (Ostmark). Medium reddish brown grip shows a few faint dents with light surface wear but no chips or cracks. Grip inserts properly inset. Blade shows light runner marks and is without nicks to the cutting edge. Deeply etched motto retains 100% of the light grey background frosting. Anodized scabbard shows some surface wear with a few light scratches to the lacquer. One small indent on the ball of the lower scabbard fitting. EX+/EX++
