Description
CARL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN and squirrel in double oval etched TM. Nickel silver hilt fittings show surface wear/age patina with reverse lower crossguard SA group marked “Fr” for Franken. Light-brown wooden grip shows light surface wear with no cracks or chips and with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX showing surface wear/runner marks and light gray shadowing. Deeply etched motto retains 99% of the light gray background frosting. Reverse Röhm inscription has been professionally ground away with no portions of letters in the dedication remaining. Steel scabbard shows surface wear with much speckling/crazing to the brown anodization. Dent-free nickel silver scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age patina with minor damage to the lower ball and minor surface dents to lower scabbard fitting.
