Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, Squirrel holding sword stamped TM. Nickel plated over gray metal hilt fittings show some wear/age patina with red felt plug in pommel slot. Black bakelite grips, with steel rivets are perfect with no cracks or chips. The plated blade measuring 7.75 inches in length grades EX++ showing minor runner marks. Obverse blade features Carl Eickhorn etch pattern Nr. 3220 with a ribbon band and standard remembrance of service time motto surrounded by oak leaves with raised oak leaf wreath, stahlhelm and crossed rifles at tip end and Army down-swept wing eagle at ricasso end of the etched panel. Reverse blade indicates Infantry Regiment No. 32. Blade is complete with leather buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard. Complete with frog and age toned bayonet knot. EX+
