Description
Unmarked but, clearly a ROBERT KLAAS pattern etch. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show age with speckling and loss to plating on reverse upper hilt/crossguard and is complete with green felt plug. Black bakelite grip plates are perfect with no cracks or chips. Plated blade grades EX+ showing very minor runner marks and light sharpening to both cutting edges and is complete with brown leather blade buffer pad. Upper ricasso has crudely engraved name; Heinz Reiher. Obverse blade features central motif with“Zur Erinnerung am meine Dienstzeit” flanked by a Wehrmacht helmet and eagle. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 98% of the original black enamel showing only light wear/age.
