Gilted brass hilt fittings show virtually no wear and retain 100% of the gilting to the pommel cap and Soviet star, pommel with Soviet Armed Forces emblem on obverse and to the recurved crossguard. Light orange celluloid grip is perfect with no cracks or chips. Plated mirror finish blade grades Near MINT/MINT and complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Black leather-covered scabbard is perfect with wear, rips or tears and is complete with upper, center, and lower gilted fittings with two suspension rings. Obverse upper fitting is etched with a winged propeller over a sunburst with jets over the Kremlin on the reverse. Nice example! Near MINT (26500)
