Richard Herder (a scarce SS trademark). This is a direct WWII veteran family purchase and is totally untouched. A good cleaning would be in order by the purchaser. Grip emblems are perfectly inlaid in the ebony grip. Internal crossguards are both stamped “P” and “A” (Piel and Addy casting firm in Solingen). “I” stamped on revere crossguard. Perfect tight blade to lower crossguard fit. Original scabbard paint is near 100%. EX+.
