“Presented for our customers this week is one of the rarest daggers awarded during the Third Reich: a “full” SS Roehm. Shortly after the “Night of The Long Knives,” an order issued by Heinrich Himmler’s Munich office instructed that the inscription, “In herzlicher Kameradenschaft Ernst Roehm” be removed from all presented SS Daggers. Only after the inscription was removed could the dagger be worn again. This directive resulted in most SS Roehm Daggers having their inscription removed, making this “full” (or “unground”) Roehm dagger one of the rarest.  This exceptionally rare specimen also includes the original recipients’ SS serial number and his SS file:  SS-Haupsturmfuhrer Alfred Schmaling served in the Waffen-SS and was assigned to a number of SS Mountain Regiments. He was awarded the SS-Degen, the Honor “Totenkopf” Ring, and the Iron Cross First and Second Class. Here’s your chance to own one of the rarest!”
