New, still in the brown wrapper from the Berlin printer, never opened copies of The Daggers and Edged Weapons of Hitler’s Germany by Lt. Col. James P. Atwood. Talk about a stroke of good luck! While rearranging some stock on the other side of our building we discovered an entire box of the long out-of-print Atwood references. I purchased the entire third printing of Jim’s internationally known classic dagger reference. All of the entire third printing had been sold (or so thought) years ago. Prior to the hardbound Atwood reference book during 1975 all dagger collectors had available for reference were the sparcely available Solingen dagger factory catalogs. Now, if I can just find a buried box of the also long out-of-print classic by Frederick Stephens entitled, Reproduction? Recognition!
