RZM M7/10 (J.A. Henckels ZWILLINGSWERK, Solingen) and twins logo etched TM 1938.  Plated hilt fittings show light age/wear with some light speckling to plating of upper and lower crossguards. Furniture quality, medium red-brown grip shows almost no age with some minor depression to reverse but no cracks or chips. Silve grip eagle and SA insert are properly inset. Blade grades EX++ showing light runner marks and no nicks or cuts to the cutting edge with 99% of the cross-graining present throughout. Deeply etched motto retains very little of the artificial blackening to the background. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains approximately 99% of the period black enamel and just a few faint paint chips to reverse scabbard. Plated scabbard fittings show light surface wear primarily to reverse upper scabbard fitting, but no dents and no damage to lower ball. A prime example of an early NSKK piece!
