Original Eickhorn Solingen, squirrel etched TM. Nickel silver hilt fittings show light wear to pommel and crossguard with only 30% gilding remaining on pommel and crossguard swastikas. Superb patinated feathering detail to the crossguard quillons. Underneath of quillon is marked “FL GR (ZA) Rotenburg”. The blue leather grip has no nicks and is complete with tight double, “spongy” aluminum wire wrap. Blade grades Near Mint and shows very light surface runner marks but, no pitting or nicks to cutting edges and is complete with blue leather buffer pad. The dent-free scabbard shows wear and a few nicks to leather but, has no depressions with a totally indiscernible seam. Dent-free, upper and lower scabbard fittings are nicely patinated with the upper scabbard fitting marked “H21”. The integral leather is missing. EX++.
