EICKHORN ORIGINAL, SOLINGEN stamped squirrel holding sword TM. This superb sword features gilded brass hilt fittings with much of the honey gold finish and some factory lacquer remaining on the polished highlights, as well as to the matte gold finish in the recesses of the heavily chiseled oak leaf pommel, backstrap, ferrule, knuckle-bow, and crossguard with out-stretched winged eagle. Underside of crossguard quillon is stamped, “DRP”. Black celluloid grip is perfect with no cracks or chips and complete with triple twisted silver wire wrap. Blade grades MINT with almost no runner marks and wear. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains approximately 98% of the original black enamel showing only a few spots of missing paint to the drag and scabbard ring.
