Description
SMF Solingen seated king TM. The aluminum hilt fittings showing faint wear to pommel and crossguard frosting with much of the the gold wash remaining on pommel and crossguard swastikas and superb feathering detail to the crossguard quillons. Blue leather grip shows only minor surface wear and is complete with double aluminum wire wrap. Uncleaned plated blade grades EX+ showing surface wear/runner marks and speckling but no nicks or lifting to plating, and is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Reverse blade is stamped with a Waffen-Amt stylized eagle and the number “5”. Dent-free, unwarped blue leather scabbard shows some surface scuffing and small nicks, but no rips or tears and no damage to the seam. Dent-free, upper and lower frosted aluminum scabbard fittings show minor surface wear and are complete with all four retaining screws.
