This shield shaped badge measuring 12mm wide X 20mm long features a black enamel swastika on a black/white/red enamel facsimile of the ‘Cross of the South’ emblem. The ‘Cross of the South’ emblem had been used by the Police Troop of the German East Africa colony and its traditions were confired upon the ‘Landespolizeigruppe General Göring’ on 29 May 1934. Badge shows minor wear/age with no damage to enamel and is complete with attaching pin. RARE badge from the best known unit of the Landespolizei. EX++
